Hello Parents

Kick off Year 10 with engaging, supportive, and confidence-boosting English Language and Literature tuition in a supportive small group online setting.

This small group tuition is designed to help students feel prepared, motivated, and more secure with the skills needed for GCSE English success at the end of Year 11.

Whether students are already feeling confident or need a boost before Year 11 begins, these sessions will provide focused guidance, practice, and encouragement in a friendly environment.

Each student will receive:

  • Weekly small-group live sessions
  • Personalised marking and feedback
  • Direct message support between sessions
  • Priority booking for 1:1s before PPEs and exams
  • First access to my pop- up masterclasses throughout the year

When?

  • Thursdays during term time
  • 4pm–5pm
  • Starting Thursday 10th September 2026
  • Final session for this half-term Thursday 22nd October 2026

Where?

Lessons will take place live on Microsoft Teams, making it easy for students to join from home. If you are new to the group, please look out for your joining link in the confirmation e-mail and follow up e-mail.

Expectations:

To help create a positive and productive group environment, students will be expected to:

  • Attend sessions regularly and on time
  • Have cameras on and working throughout lessons
  • Join in with discussions and activities

Cost:

  • £30 per session × 6 weeks
  • Plus a £5 administration fee

Total upfront payment: £185

Places are limited to keep the group small and supportive, allowing students to receive personalised guidance and feedback throughout the course.
