GCSEs can feel big, overwhelming, and stressful.
You may be noticing:
You want to help.
But you don’t want constant tension at home.
GCSEs don’t have to feel chaotic or impossible.
With the right support, they can feel calm, structured, and achievable.
I work with Year 10 and 11 students to help them feel clear, capable, and in control of their learning and revision.
Relationships are at the heart of what I do.
I build trust quickly, creating a space where your child feels understood and supported — while gently challenging them to take responsibility and step into their potential.
I’m their warm, encouraging cheerleader and their professional study mentor.

With over 20 years in education — including a decade as Head of English — I understand both the academic demands of GCSEs and the emotional pressures students face during Years 10 and 11.
I am a trained coach as well as an experienced teacher, which means I don’t just focus on content — I focus on mindset, motivation, and sustainable habits.
Each week, I tutor multiple students and provide dedicated coaching support to individuals, giving me firsthand insight into what truly helps young people succeed — not just academically, but personally.
My aim is simple:
To help your child feel capable, calm, and proud of the effort they’re putting in.
✔ Year 10 and 11 students feeling overwhelmed or unsure
✔ Bright students underperforming
✔ Capable students lacking motivation
✔ Teens who need structure and accountability
✔ Parents who want support without constant tension
The months before exams matter.
Choosing the right support now can change not only the outcome of your child’s GCSEs, but how they approach challenges for years to come — with stronger habits, resilience, and belief in themselves.
